All borrower accounts expire at least every 4 years. College students and other short term
residents' accounts expire annually. We do this so that the library can ensure we have all of your
current contact information. People often have contact information changes and fail to notify the
library. We also catch data entry mistakes this way.

You can renew your account online by saving your address changes via My Account. These address
changes are forwarded and processed by staff daily and the changes should be reflected on your
account within 48 hours. If your address information is correct, you can renew your account by
entering the word "VERIFIED" in the "Country" data field for your address. This will create a message
to staff to renew your account. You may also renew your account by:

  • Visiting any library branch in person
  • Calling Library Information at 831-427-7713
  • Emailing us with your information.  Please be aware that email is by its very nature insecure and that we are unable to guarantee the privacy of information sent via email.  However, if you feel comfortable sending personal information in an email, please include the following so we can update your account:
    • Library Card Number
    • Full Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Mailing Address
    • Residence Address (if different)
    • Phone Number
    • Email Address
